4 node Rac with 4 node Ebs

Hi Emran, We have 4 node Rac db and 4 node Ebs 12.2 on Exadata environment whenever Exadata team will apply the patch in one instance we need to down the db on that node like wise they apply the patches but in application we are facing the cm issues some time service manager is not coming up on node 4 or some other nodes .so in that case what we can do to avoid this issue.

Hi,

If I understand you correctly, your issue is related with the CM failover configurations.
You apply a patch on a db node, shutdown the db instance on that node and some of the related concurrent managers fails.. -- if I m interpreting your issue correctly...

If so, please see and check your config accordingly-> "Configuring and Managing Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1.x Application Tiers for Oracle RAC (Doc ID 1311528.1) - Section 4: Failover Configurations"


And also check the log of internal manager and the log of that time service manager to see the reason of the issue.
