Add nodes to existing EBS Instance

daniesh
Hi Erman,

We are upgrading from EBS 12.1.3 to 12.2.7. Upgrade is over. Now I am configuring shared appl top.
Old instance was already registered with shared appltop and Load balancer.
Do i need to add the 2nd again. Like i have to follow the whole process of adding nodes as per Sharing The Application Tier File System in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2 (Doc ID 1375769.1)
Or i can run adcfgclone on target node and configured the filesystem on target node.

Please suggest me on this.

yes. 12.2 doesn't support multi-node upgrade. So currently, you probably upgraded single node, anyways..

after all the upgrade steps have completed, you would have to add the node again.

Oracle says: Currently we are NOT recommending that customers add nodes to their 12.2 Rapid Install upgrade file system until AFTER the upgrade to the latest 12.2.x RUP is complete. This is due to the complexity of the 12.2 upgrade, enabling online patching and the issues surrounding more than one node prior to getting to the latest AD/TXK Delta patch and RUP patch.
