CPU PATCH FOR APR 2023

Hi,
 we want to apply:
Patch 35020334: ORACLE APPLICATIONS RELEASE 12.2: CPU PATCH FOR APR 2023
 
These are the Prerequisite Patches:
The following should be installed in the order shown before installing this patch.
1 R12.AD.C.delta.3 ORACLE APPLICATIONS DBA 12.2.3 PRODUCT RELEASE UPDATE PACK (Install on Oracle Applications DBA)
1 R12.AD.C.delta.13 R12.AD.C.DELTA.13 (Install on Oracle Applications DBA)
1 R12.TXK.C.delta.13 R12.TXK.C.DELTA.13 (Install on Oracle Applications Technology Stack)
2 12.2.3 ORACLE E-BUSINESS SUITE 12.2.3 RELEASE UPDATE PACK

But when clic on any of them we have:

This Patchset has been Superseded.
 
        Reason
                Supersede with R12.AD.C.DELTA.4
        Note
                This patch was originally replaced by patch R12.AD.C.delta.4. The most recent replacement for this patch is R12.AD.C.delta.14. If you are downloading patchset R12.AD.C.delta.3 because it is a prerequisite for another patch or patchset, you should verify whether or not R12.AD.C.delta.14 is suitable as a substitute prerequisite before downloading it.

Then should we apply R12.AD.C.delta.14?



How to know if R12.AD.C.delta.14 is suitable as a substitute prerequisite ?

Yes. It is better(recommended) to apply the latest ones, unless it is explicitly stated to apply a specific version.. They supersede with old ones, no issues with the interoperability.. Those prerequisite are the for the minimums.

Also , the following is already stated in the patch read me ->

This patch requires additional code levels to have been successfully
applied to your system before it can be applied.  These code levels,
as at the time that this patch was built, are listed below.  Please check
'My Oracle Support' to determine if any of these have been *superseded*..

Delta 14 is just one newer version of Delta 13, and Delta 14 is released more than 6 months ago. So I don't think it will be an issue to apply Delta 14 for this.
