CPU patch

Roshan
Hello Erman,

kindly advise if CPU patch for version 12.1.0.2 on Oracle Support can be applied to 12.2.0 database?

After 12.1.0.2 there is 19c available.

Thanks,

Roshan

Note that; Premier Support period for Oracle 12.2.0.1 ended on November 30, 2020. See-> Release Schedule of Current Database Releases (Doc ID 742060.1)

Also note that -> "Starting with Database 12.2.0.1, the Quarterly Release Updates (Updates) will replace Bundle patches and Quarterly Release Update Revisions (Revisions) will replace the PSU's to improve the quality and experience of proactive maintenance."

12.2? That's the beginning of the new versioning remember.. 19C is an Oracle Database 12.2.0.3 actually. (18C is 12.2.0.2..) That is actually 12.2 family (with the old naming)

So you ll go with RU and RURs..
Use MOS -> Patches & Updates > Product & Family Advanced Search > Choose Product as Oracle Database and release as your release (12.2.0.1 for instance) and check the recommended patches checkbox  and list the patches.. That is a good list to consider
