Configure proxy in EBS r12.2 to send invoices to external website over internet

Kasim
Dear Emran,

We need to configure proxy in our internal EBS application to send the invoices to external website over internet via proxy rather than sending them directly.

Current setup connects directly to external website and send the invoices. But now we have a finding from cybersecurity to stop this and send the invoices through proxy.

Can you please guide us like how can we achieve this ?

Your kind support is highly appreciated.

If the external website is accessible via a URL, you can typically configure the proxy within Oracle EBS itself. This often involves specifying the proxy server's IP address, port, and any necessary authentication credentials. So you install the proxy to get those requests from EBS and send it to the external sites. Popular options include Apache HTTP Server, Nginx, and Oracle HTTP Server

Dear Erman,

Thank you for your response.

Could you please help in knowing how to configure the proxy within Oracle EBS itself.... I mean in which we file we need to specify the proxy server's IP address, port, and other necessary authentication credentials.

Your support on this highly appreciated.

Thanks
Kasim
