Configuring the EBS 12.2/19c Dataguard RAC environment

Fabulous forum, and I liked it so much, I decided to post my question.

I have an EBS 12.2.10 environment running on 19c RAC CDB/PDB.
Created a RAC Standby in our DR environment, which is just the Oracle EE install with no EBS appsutil.

If I wanted to configure the Oracle Home for EBS, is it best to lay down appsutil.zip from apps tier generation, run adbldxml.pl on both nodes, then run AutoConfig, or do I have to involve adcfgclone ?
Struggling a little as I do not want to mess up the DataGuard TNS setup.

Thank you very much in advance.

Yes, you can use a manually installed EE home by putting appsutil on top of it, and configuring it according to EBS, but! I don't recommend it.. You may have extra one-off patches, PSUs and stuff like that installed in your actual/primary EBS home.. So primary and standby should be in sync even in case of Oracle Home versions, patch levels, and configuration(in a sense).. So I recommend you clone the Oracle Home from primary to standby and use that as-is home by configuring it on your standby according EBS..
