DMZ configurationin R12.2

satish
Dear Erman,

Our architecture R12.2.5 with 2 node internal application tier. Now we are configuring DMZ with external node and reverse proxy

we are following Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2 Configuration in a DMZ (Doc ID 1375670.1)

We have shared application file system between existing 2 internal nodes. The new external node which we are adding should not be part of the shared appltop right?

Thank you

Yes. it will not use that  shared filesystems.
The server that will host the EBS's DMZ tier will be a different machine than the internal ones.
It will located in the DMZ tier, which is in a delimeted network zone.
What we do by using the DMZ is to seperate and isolate the EBS internal and external tiers from eachother.
Sharing the apps filesystem between DMZ and internal nodes is also against this principle.
I hope you get the idea.
