Dear erman,

We are on R12.2.5

Is there any ebs specific  manual upgrade from 12.1.0.2 to 19c
Or Do we have to use only dbua to upgrade to 19c

Which one do you  recommend?

Thanks,
Satish

Not only dbua ofcourse.
But dbua is safer, cause EBS knowledge base gives you the dbua method. So, in case of an upgrade failure, and in case of a support need, it is better to be aligned with the documentation, from my point of view; this means a faster problem resolution for the problems you may face during the upgrade.
And I recommend dbua (aligned with the EBS MOS documentation) for EBS 19C upgrade (unless you have another requirement that may make you use another upgrade method). We 've used dbua for all our EBS 19C Upgrade tasks so far.

For the other methods see -> Section 2 of 19C Upgrade Guide -> https://docs.oracle.com/en/database/oracle/oracle-database/19/upgrd/oracle-database-upgrade-guide.pdf

But again, DBUA is safer in EBS 19C Upgrades. --Although it is not called a must, but it is imposed...
