EBS r12.1.3 TO R12.2 adsplice

satish
Hi erman,

We have upgraded EBS r12.1.3 TO R12.2
We have applied AD/TXK delta 12. RUP not yet applied. After applying TXK path,we got  the message
New product CMI spliced. Use FNDCPASS to change the password.
New product YMS spliced. Use FNDCPASS to change the password.

we changed the password for cmi and yms  using fndcpass to cmi and yms. When we run adsplice,we faced below error.

AD Splicer error:
Invalid product abbreviation: cmi

You should check the file
/u01/CRP/R122/fs1/EBSapps/appl/admin/SSSEBSTR/log/adsplice.log
for errors.

Please adviceadsplice.log

Why do you run adsplicer for CMI, send me the MOS note or patch readme that instructed you to do that.

Hi erman,

We are running adsplice for custom top xxsss.  We edited the files xxsssprod.txt xxsssterr.txt and newsprod.txt.

With this error,we are unable to proceed.

Thanks,
satish

Okay so that patch (probably R12.TXK.C.Delta.12) spliced the CMI and now you are getting errors related to it..

1)Check from ad_trackable_entities. Do you see CMI there? Can you cd to $CMI_TOP?
2)Also verify it (CMI) using Creating a Custom Application in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1.3 and above (Doc ID 1577707.1) -> Section 2: Verify Creation of Custom Product in the Database
3)Also verify your method for adding a new custom using the same document given in item 2.
4)Any missing patches that you may have while applying R12.TXK.C.Delta.12, please check that as well? -- also check the patch log , using something like ; egrep -i 'fail|error|ora-' u_xxx.log

Okay.

What about the remaining 3 actions ->

--> from previous update
