Encountered unrecognized patch ID: E7HI.jar

Hello, Erman!

I am persistently getting this error when applying a patch:

[applmgr@erpdba1 bsu]$ ./bsu.sh -patchlist=E7HI.jar -prod_dir=/orapp/EBS/fs2/FMW_Home/wlserver_10.3 -verbose -install

I tried after installing new smart update utility also, using patch p12426828_1035_Generic.zip

I sourced run env, completed prepared phase, sourced patch env, then exported weblogic home and PATH and then ran the bsu command.

We are on 12.2.10

I tried it already but it is not helping.
The patch-client.jar file in our env is of 516 bytes. On all our instances it is of the same size. Where can I get a new file on Oracle website?

MOS note already addresses it and clearly states that "It should be 512 bytes," Maybe that's the issue but I m not sure.. This might change according to the installed version of Weblogic. That MOS note is for versions  Version 9.0 to 10.3.6.
Don't you have a backup? If you have, can you check the patch-client.jar file from there?

It is resolved. I has used -patchlist=E7HI.jar, but it should have been -patchlist=E7HI
