Will EBS application use LBA  in RAC?Scan listeners use LBA to route connections to leastly loaded node.
Trying to understand how server side load balancing works in ebs Rac

Yes. Scan listener is by design something like a load balancer in db tier.
However; in EBS it is a little different.  By default, some apps components are configured to connect to some nodes only..  This is especially for chatty app modules.. It is in order to prevent cluster wait in chatty modules.
When we talk about Load Balancers in EBS , we need to talk about a big picture.. I mean the Load Balancers, Scan listeners, parallel concurrent processing and EBS configuration..
