Migration of EBS R12 to new server

Dear erman,

 I need to move my entire Database and Application (EBS12.1.3) rhel 5.5 32 bit  to new server rhel 5.5 64 bit

New server has different hostname and ipadress.What Actions should we take when new server has different ip and hostname.

Any deregister?

Dear erman,

Clinet needs the same old url.But since we are migrating to new server and it has different hostname.How can we do this.Any steps please.

You can switch the hostnames old -> new , new -> old :)

I don't know if you have a load balancer or not, but if you do have one, it is just a config in the load balancer and that's it..

You can also consider using virtual hostnames..
