Migration path from HPUX to Linux

soumya
Hi Erman,

One of my client have two requirements in their EBS environment.
Requirement 1 : Migrate EBS 11i and DB 10g from HPUX to Linux
Requirement 2 : Once migration is done, upgrade DB from 10.2.0.2 to 12.1.0.2. No ebs upgrade is required.

Env details:-

Source
OS: HPUX 11.11
EBS-11.5.10.2
DB:10.2.0.2

Detination:
OS:RHEL 5
EBS-11.5.10.2
DB:10.2.0.2

For Req 1:-
I am following  following docs
Migrating to Linux with Oracle Applications Release 11i (Doc ID 238276.1)
9i Export/Import Process for Oracle Applications Release 11i (Doc ID 230627.1)

I would like to know whether using the above doc id are suitable for this activity? Is there any challenges for such cross platform migration?

For Req 2 : Any available doc ids ?

Thanks

Soumya

Your approach is generally correct.
You will do cross platform db migration and upgrade.

Why do you follow 9i exp/imp document? - your EBS DB is 10g.

check this note as well.. It may give you some insight.
