NLS Patch

Roy
Hello Erman,

Please clarify me whetber my below approach is right,
1. Installed 12.2
2. Upgrade to 12.2.3
3. Enabled nls language
4. Requested TSP PATC
5. Applied TSP succesfully.

The 12.2.3 release update patch has nls patches. In my system it is not installed.
Do the TSP patch have up-to date translations? Do i have to apply tne 12.2.3 nls patch?

Hi Roy,

Your approach is true. You have applied all the patches including 12.2.3 upgrade patch, and then requested TSP and applied that, right?
If so, TSP will include all of the translations ..  In other words, you dont have to apply 12.2.3 NLS patch.

Note that :  TSP can be used to synchronize the file versions of your active languages to the current American English file versions in your system.
This means that if you have upgraded your release level, or have applied multiple American English patches to an instance, you can then apply a Translation Synchronization patch for each active language to bring your translations up to your release or patch level. You do not need to apply the translated versions of each American English patch

Also, please keep in mind that:
Translation Synchronization patch does not include translation content for EMEA Add-on Localizations (CLE) product. If you need translations for CLE product, apply the translated versions of American English CLE patches that are available for download. If the translation of a patch is not available, that indicates translation may not be necessary for that particular patch.
