Network test

big
Hi,
It is my test result:

And Oracle Recommends Network latency should be low and bandwidth should be high.

My question is:
How much is low or high latency?
How much is low or high bandwidth ?

Thank you.

There you can see both the latency and throughput results. Interpreting these results is not your main work,  and probably that’s why Oracle has provided some sample data to use as reference for your results. That sample data and values can be considered the minimum acceptable network values recommended by Oracle.
So sample data that you see there, is the minimum acceptable values..
There is no certain minimum/best values, it all depends on your environment.
By comparing your values with the sample ones, you can understand whether your client form and database network are acceptable. If they are not acceptabe, then you should consult the network team and make them analyze the network.

Thank you.

As you see in the picture our Min Databytes from Form server to Database is 998336 which is much greater than Max acceptable: 8888.9.

Are we bad? Should we try to reduce it? How?
Regards.

That part(right part) is about throughput, not the latency.. it is the "data rate". bytes per second. So you are good.

You have # problem in that form..
It appears the numeric format mask is too small for the field value, causing hashtag symbols # to be displayed.

See the following MOS note as well;

12.2 E-Business Suite Technology Stack Network Test Form FNDPMNET.fmb Displays '#####' In Some Fields As Numeric Format Mask Is Too Small (Doc ID 2412102.1)
