OJVM patch 12c database l

Dear erman,

We have applied 2021Apr psu to our erp database.Is it mandatory to apply OJVM patch and we are worried about the issues we may face after applying OJVM psu?

Pls advice

DB 12.1.0.2.0
Ebs12.2.5

My Colleague  said most of the customer skip OJVM patch.
