Ora-20001: synonym does not point to seed table BNE_EXT_FILE while applying hr global driver patch

Hi Erman,
When i am applying HR Global Driver patch. Most of the ldt's are failing with Ora-20001: synonym does not point to seed table BEN_EXT_FILE while applying hr global driver patch

pqpglext.ldt

and many more.

Please help

After i created a synonym
create or replace synonym BEN_EXT_FILE for BEN.BEN_EXT_FILE;

Reapply a patch using force option.
Patch got applied successfully.

Please suggest.

I found lots of related to BEN_EXT_FILEUS_pqpsrext_ldt.log

ORA-20001: Synonym does not point to a seed data table: BEN_EXT_FILE

As mentioned after recreating the synonym I rerun hrglobal driver.
Patch got applied successfully.

I skipped all the failed workers, hence it got passed.

1)Is tihs an upgraded environment? (for ex: from 12.1 to 12.2)
2)If it is an upgraded environment, did you encounter any error during your upgrade?
3)What is the output of the following query ->

 select object_name,object_type from dba_objects where object_name like 'BEN_EXT_FILE%';

yes, 12.1.3 to 12.2.7

Hi Erman,

I raised a SR with Oracle Support.

From Oracle Support update,

Your instance has Shared install of BEN module.



As you are not using this module, you can safely ignore this error.
