Oracle Database Home backup

Hello Erman,

I am doing a backup of Oracle Database 12c Home backup. I have to stop the dtabase and listener before I start the cold backup. The issue is that when I stop the listener I get the error

TNS 01190: The user is not authorized to executed the requested TNS command.
The security local os authentication is on.

Is it windows or Unix/Linux?

Send me the exact commands that you have used, provide screenshots of the error, provide the permissions of $ORACLE_HOME/bin directory and provide the user/group information of the user that you have executed the listener stop command.

Hello,

sorry. It was permission problem. the clients did not giv me the correct database user. When I did ls -ltr it was oracle:oinstall. They lost the username.
