Printer issue

Dear Erman,

We are facing the below error while checking for the status of printer in linux oracle apps.can you please update us the fix to this problem

[applscp@test1 ~]$ lpstat -p AIRO
printer AIRO now printing AIRO-5.  enabled since Thursday 01 March 2018 06:51:31 PM IST
        Unable to connect to CIFS host, will retry in 60 seconds...

[root@test1]# lpstat -p AIRO
printer AIRO disabled since Thursday 01 March 2018 06:55:17 PM IST -
        Unable to connect to CIFS host after (tried 3 times)

You have a CIFS shared printer I guess.
Check the printer definitions on OS level.
Analyze and fix the CIFS related error.. In this case, your OS Printer defitinion is based on a CIFS share and that CIFS share is unreachable from your OS. Check the defitinion of it (if it is correct) and check if the CIFS share is reachable.(check the CIFS share host as well.)
