Purge/Archival in ebs

Dear erman,

We see few xla tables growing abnormally.We would like to perform archival or purge ebs data.Please Any reference how to setup archival or purge for ebs R12.2

Currently there are no methods for purging or archiving XLA it seems..

There is an Enhancement Request though.. "6316302 - REQUIREMENT TO ARCHIVE AND PURGE THE XLA/SLA TABLES..

For EBS in general you have;

If you have other purging or archiving needs, you may need to check the exact methods according to the module/product that you are looking for..  For instance, to archive GL Balances and Journals -> How to Archive And Purge General Ledger Balances and Journals (Doc ID 145707.1)
So these methods are specific...

As for the XLA; there are some bugs (fixed by patches) that cause high number of rows recoded in XLA tables .. Ref: R12 AP: Invoice Validation Performance And Excessive Huge Archive Log Generation (Doc ID 1339345.1)
So being in the latest patch level is always an advantage.
