R12.2.9 upgrade process---URGENT

Hi,

does R12.2 upgrade process takes care of following activities

q1)creation of edition view for custom table?
q2)creation of synonym for edition view in apps schema.
q3) Dependent on q2 what if 2 custom schemas have same table name, how does synonyms are created in apps schema pointing to edition views

It says:

If the objects in a custom schema that reference an EBS table, then one must reference the table via the APPS table synonym.  The APPS table synonym will point to the editioning view if one exists.  One can create synonyms in a custom schema that point to the APPS table synonym for any EBS tables that one wants to reference.  If one has existing synonyms that point directly to the EBS base table at the time of the EBS 12.2 upgrade, then the upgrade will automatically convert those synonyms to point at the editioning view instead, if one exists.

According to this discusssion editioning views are created automatically, if your custom application is registered with EBS before the upgrade.
However; I didn't test it yet.

The readiness report should show you that.
It should give you the list that which custom schema will be editioned by R12.2 upgrade.
