Seems like there is a mismatch between your startCD and Installation files.. You may be missing some files as well.
QRM is in the Financials application family.. QRM : Risk Management Failing doing what? Buildstage? or after that during Rapidwiz installation? You are using startCD51.. Did you patch the Rapid Install stage area with Consolidated Patch 32947483. How did you download your installation files from edelivery? Did you download EBS "12.2.0 or EBS "12.2.0 current"? Check the following url -> https://www.scribd.com/doc/291403882/R12-2-Linux-64-bit-based-on-startCD-12-2-0-48-txt, "EBSInstallMedia/Apps/Disk3/appl/stage/qrm368.zip" is shown there, so that file is not unexpected.. |
software.PNGHi Erman,
Thanks for the update. We have downloaded the software from edelivery. Attached the screenshot. We didnt apply any patch. We have created stage area using buildStage.sh Not startcd, rapidwiz version root@visionerp rapidwiz]# ./rapidwiz version Rapid Install Wizard is validating your file system...... CMDDIR=/u03/stage/startCD/Disk1/rapidwiz Rapid Install Wizard will now launch the Java Interface..... [root@visionerp rapidwiz]# ./RapidWizVersion Oracle E-Business Suite Rapid Install Wizard Version 12.2.0.51 From Edelivery, selected DLP: Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.12 ( Oracle Financials ) and added to cart Downloaded. Attached the screenshot 1) Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.0 Current 2) Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.12 3) Oracle Database 12.1.0.2.0 4) Oracle Database 19.3.0.0.0 - Long Term Release 5) Oracle Web Tier 11.1.1.9.0 6) Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.6.0.0 Please kindly let us know if we need to apply any patch Thanks, Satish |

You are using startCD51.. Did you patch the Rapid Install stage area with Consolidated Patch 32947483.--->Yes Do we have to download EBS "12.2.0 as well apart from EBS "12.2.0 current"? Thank you |
Dear eman,
Issue fixed.problem with stage area. Thanks |
Dear erman,
After the vision instance installation. We are trying to update from 12.2.0 to 12.2.10. We ran etcc on db node,it reported almost 20 patches.insted of applying these patches, can we apply latest psu and run etcc again,so that number of etcc patches will be reduced. But not sure whether we can apply psu at this point |

Okay, your issue resolved then.. (invalid stage)
And about your ETCC question; (actually this is a separate question and you should have created a new issue for this); The default patch recommendations to install those missing bugfixes one by one.. We do it that way. But, you should also install PSU, I don't see any problems with that. By installing the PSU , you will have some more bugfixes installed before the 12.2.10 upgrade. This should not be an issue, as this is the db tier and it it the most technological transparent stack in EBS, but there is always a risk.. One more thing about that; going out from the documentation involves a risk, but logic tells us to apply PSU and we think it will be okay.. Maybe it is not tested , but we don't think it will be problem.. If your upgrade will be completed without any problems, then you are good to go.. One day or another you will have those PSUs, RUs in place.. The only think that makes it risky is that; applying the PSU (which is not a documented move) as a pre-upgrade.. We still thank you can take that risk since this is a fresh installation and you will be able to redo that upgrade operation if you fail. |
