 It sounds simple, but adop does several things by invoking the txkADOPCutOverPhaseCtrlScript.pl
script to complete this cutover operation. First, adop shuts down the concurrent managers and all the other
application services. Then, using the AD script named adzdpmgr.pl script located in the $AD_TOP/bin
directory, adop makes the patch edition the new run edition in the database. After switching the database
editions, adop also makes the patch file system to be the new run file system, and vice versa, by configuring
the environment variable accordingly by using the AutoConfig utility.

Adop use DDL statements while doing this cutover thing.
In finalize phase, adop determines the DDL Statements to execute at cutover phase.
Later on, In cutover phase, adop executes the DDL statements prepared during the finalize phase.
