RAC to RAC refresh

Hi Erman,

Our architecture

PROD 2 node apps tier and 2 node RAC
UAT 2 node apps tier and 2 node RAC

We have applied psu patch in UAT server.We are asked to clone the UAT instance.This PSU is not applied in PROD.
So far we always just refreshed the data alone.But in this case,Do we need to clone and configure both RDBMS and GRID homes?
Is it sufficient to just clone RDBMS home along with data?
Is it mandatory to clone GRID home as well?

We use perl adcfgclone.pl dbTechStack to configure the rdbms oracle home.We dont have idea on how to configure for GRID home.can you please suggest?

You may remove that PSU from your Grid home if you like.
Check the related documents if you consider doing that.

But you can have that difference between your grid and db homes. No problem with that.
