REP-52266: The in-process Reports Server rep_wls_reports_sr04 failed to start

While configuring reports in WebLogic in linux server got below error.Please helps to rectify


REP-52266: The in-process Reports Server rep_wls_reports_sr04 failed to start.oracle.reports.RWException: IDL:oracle/reports/RWException:1.0


we got the same error in Windows but we changed Reports_tmp location in Regedit. it working without issues. Don't know what to do in Linux.

Hi,

Probably a wrong environment setting in Linux OS user's environment causes this issue.

Check (or send me) the reports server log rwserver_diagnostic.log

Okay you got the following in the log and it is repeated multiple times..

        at oracle.reports.server.RWServer.jniMain(RWServer.java:289)

This seems to be a network issue.. Disable firewall in Linux (in addition to that, disable Selinux) and retry.
