RMAN RETENTION POLICY

Hi,
On 11.2.0.4 on AIX

Our RMAN retention cofiguration is:

CONFIGURE RETENTION POLICY TO RECOVERY WINDOW OF 8 DAYS;

1-Exceptionally I want to do a full backup  on 26th of september and keep it for 90 days.

How can I do that?

2-How can I see/verify the retention value for an available backup?

1) You can use CHANGE, KEEP or CHANGE, NOKEEP to specify whether a backup should be subject to the configured retention policy or kept until a different date or even indefinitely.

2) Check the V$BACKUP_FILES.. Does it satisfy your request?
