Rebuild run file system from patch file system

raja
Hi Erman

What if i have deleted the INST_TOP, FMW and EBSAPPS directories under run file system accidentally. In this case can i rebuild my run file system from patch file system(which is intact) by copying the EBSAPPS directory and rebuilding it using adcfgclone appsTier.

Thanks

You need to test .. This is a R&D work :) It may work, but it will create you lots of extra work and analysis.
I recommend you restore your run filesystem backup, instead.

 Hi Erman

Unfortunately i don't had any back of run file system at the time of accidental deletion of it. Thus i have created the new patch file system and run file system. For further steps, i have a doubt

1. Do i need to run autoconfig in both the run and patch file system once the file systems are configured.

2. At the time of starting the services, the patch and run file system should be started for both, correct?

Thanks

1)You said that, you deleted the run fs.

So, how could you do this? --> "i have created the new patch file system and run file system"

2)I couldn't understand your question, please revise.

Hi Erman

I had deleted the EBSapps, INST_TOP and FMW directory of run file system. Then i copied the EBSAPPS directory from patch file system and ran adcfgclone.pl to create my run file system.

Thanks
