Removing the datafiles from ASM

Dear Erman,

I am having space issues on ASM one of my instance,  on investigating i come to know that some datafiles are present on the ASM which belongs to some previous database which is currently not running. So i need to delete these obsolete files. Can you please guide me how to do it.
