Check this note: Arabic Is Printed in Reverse Order (Doc ID 552977.1)
Ignore patches documented there. They are for EBS 11i. Review the general steps about pasta config documented in 552977.1. |

Glad that your issue is solved.
Did you do what I told you to do? What did you change exactly? |

the first step that you asked me to do in this note 552977.1
1. Update pasta.cfg file (in $FND_TOP/$APPLRCS) in these lines to be: direction=rtl dolayout=n doshaping=y bidi_algorithm=oracle |

Okay good.
Run adchkcfg.sh for your autoconfig related question. run adchkcfg.sh, it is a test mode autoconfig. It doesn't change anyting but will report the differences.(what will be changed in a future autoconfig run).. This will give you if pasta.cfg will be changed after autoconfig or not. |

Here is the definition of adchkcfg.sh
adchkcfg.sh/cmd On Applications Tier: <AD_TOP>/bin On Database Tier: <RDBMS_ORACLE_HOME>/appsutil/bin This script may be run before running AutoConfig to review the changes on running AutoConfig. This will generate a report showing the differences between the existing configuration and what the configuration would be after running AutoConfig. run it, check the difference and update me. |

Bytheway, you can always copy(backup) the pasta.cfg and run autoconfig. (after autoconfig you can restore your pasta.cfg if needed)
