Please answer the following questions->

1)You are on EBS 12.2 , right?
2)What error are you getting exactly? -- copy&paste the full error message here -- or upload a screenshot of the error?
3)Which document did you follow? (Oracle Support Document id)

Re: SSL Using wildcard

Asif Shaikh
Hi Emran,
I am in process of implementing SSL in EBS R12.2.4,  if use SSL using wildcard option, does this certificate can use on multiple server like test or production instance.  Because while create Certifcate Reuest we are given Name of server in COMMON NAME.

Please advice.

--->Enabling SSL or TLS in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2 (Doc ID 2143101.1)
3.3 Create a Certificate Request

After clicking "Yes" in 3.2 Create a Wallet, the Create Certificate Request Screen will appear.

Enter the appropriate values.

For example:

Common Name: Name of your server, including the domain---->> ? can we give any name or physical server name only
Organizational Unit: (optional) Unit within your organization
 Organization: Name of your organization
 Locality/City: Locality or city
State/Province: The full name of your State or Province (do not abbreviate)

Using wildcard certificates is supported in EBS 12.2.

If you use wildcard certificate to protect multiple servers, specify the server name as an asterisk (*) plus the domain in Common Name. For example: *.example.com .
