Space in HyperV

Roshan
Hello,

there is an issue I am getting using HyperV. Whenever I do a cloning on a virtual machine(fresh environment) it will take a certain amount of space(say 120Gb). But When I delete all the files, the space occupied will never decrease(will remain at 120GB). This is causing a big problem since we have to create a new Virtual machine once on the server it reaches 1Tera How can I recover the space once I delete files?

Rgds,
Roshan

How do you clone and then how do you delete the files ?

After the clone is completed, after I delete the data folder and database home folders(around 120gb), using rm -rf <foldernames>, the space on the server remains 120gb.
