Upgrade Java Version on Oracle APPS R 12.0

Hi Erman,
Hope you doing well. need your advice :)

Just want to ask you, is there any doc explaining step by step how to upgrade java version on Oracle Apps R 12.0.6?

my current java version :

java version "1.5.0_08"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_08-b03)
Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM (build 1.5.0_08-b03, mixed mode)

and i want upgrade java version to "1.6.0_10" or higher.

Please see MOS Note - > Deploying JRE (Native Plug-in) for Windows Clients in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 (Doc ID 393931.1)

That document covers the procedure to upgrade the version of the JRE Native Client Plug-in being used in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.

However; your EBS release is out-of-date... So you need to be on EBS 12.1.3 to be supported.. So that method documented in that MOS note may still be applicable for your But! you may end up with problems, as your release is very old.

Good news is there is another MOS note for Java & and that is applicable for 12.0 ->

Thanks for the suggestion. i try to following the step as per Doc ID 455492.1 says and provide to you as soon as possible :)

btw, java version 6 update 1 or higher does not exist in oracle support because of end lifecycle, so i need to spent a time to search from another place.
