Upgrade to R12.2

Hi erman,

We are upgrading from R12.1.3 to R12.2

Is it mandatory to disable Audit Trail Data prior to upgrade? Please advice.

In first iteration,we didn't disable it and completed the upgrade.No issues are reported.

It is not a must, but it is recommended. It adds an extra complexity to the upgrade process, it will increase its duration.. And, if database auditing somehow fails during your upgrade, your upgrade will be blocked(or fail).. So if you don't have any other reasons, you should disable it before the upgrade (and re-enable it after the upgrade).
