WorkFlow Mailer notifications and Test are not received

In R12.2.4  DB 11.2.0.4 on AIX

Test mail are not received
Mail _STAUS is SENT, does it mean they are realy sent?



In WF_DEFERRED table they are all retained. For example ID 14340806:



System team says process is killed:

Jun 2 16:06:18 server mail:info imapd[42795022]: Killed (lost mailbox lock)

Because mailbox file of IMAP user is used by several process then it is locked.

Might they be true?

 Any WorkFlow parameter that can prevent this locking?

"MAIL STATUS = SENT" means mail is sent.. WF mailer did the SMTP.. So, it is the mail server job to deliver that email now.. So tell your mail server admin to check the mail server side.

IMAP is not related with the sent emails.. Imap is for approval..  It is related with ingress..

In your case, imapd is getting killed. So your imap mail server is getting killed.. It is not a problem of WF Mailer.. You need to check your imap server config.. But, it seems you want a workaround on the client side.. (client side is WF Mailer in this case..)

Several processes? Send me the imap-side config of WF Mailer please...

The cause seems like having multiple connection to the same IMAP account.
I suspected from having multiple inbound threads, but it seems you configured only a single thread for imap. So this is not the cause.
Ensure that, you are using that imap account only from one WF mailer.. Each IMAP account should be dedicated to a single EBS WF Mailer.. Don't use the same imap account on different EBS environments.
Ensure you are not connecting to that imap account from different agents, and IPs.. WF Mailer should be the only one using it.

If you check the things that I mentioned above and if you think that you are okay, then check the OS side and IMAPD side.. You may be considering upgrading imapd and stuff like that.
