Workflow mailer setup

Hi Erman,

We are configuring application setup for workflow mailer.

Application is not able to connect to smtp host with provided credentials. To confirm the same, we tried telnet test and the test failed as below.Attached the frontend screenshot

But os team has updated that they are using same credentials in mail client (outlook) and mail flow working fine.Attached the screenshots they provided
Any idea what would have went wrong?We are using only outbound

The error is self explanatory.

You have a connectivity problem.

1)Check mail server hostname, ensure mailer server is reachable from Apps node.
2)Ensure user / pass is correct.
3) Ensure the hostname of the mailer server is resolvable from Apps Node .. (Hostname- IP resolution)

Hostname is reachable and getting ressolved.The problem is,we are unable to authenticate credentials which os team has provided.But they said they are able to login using those credentials to mail client.in my previous update,can u pls review os.png screenshot which os team has provided.

Ensure your mail server is not using SSL.

If it is using SSL then additional conf is needed on our site.

Ensure you do or don't need to enter ther username with domain.. I mean [hidden email] or just erman.

Check wf mailer log for seeing the details of this error.
