XTTS readonly mode

Hello Erman,

kindly advise if it is mandatory to set tablespace to ready only mode and perform incremental backup?

I wish to refresh the tablespace on a TEST environment. I plan to do only a level 0 backup from PROD and restore same on TEST.

Please advise.

Yu are planning a Level 0, which is a full backup.. You refresh TEST from PROD.
So I didn't understand your question. What is the reason for asking this?
Bytheway, Level1 or incremental doesn't require your source tablespaces to be in read only mode.

it's XTTS.. the final step you have to set tablespace to read only mode. I guess it is necessary to make the DB consistent?
