adsplicer fails: This is not a valid application id

Hi,
On R12.2.13 DB 19c on AIX
I run adsplicer to install a product.
adsplicer failes with:

The product restart file lists a product installation with application id nnnnn. This is not a valid application id according to applprod.txt file

Any advise please?

What is the product that you want to add using adsplice and what is the content of the applprod.txt? It seems there is something wrong with the application id(s)

Hi,
I apologise for being late.

Product is ITESOFT.

applprod.txt is a file with more than 4000 line in it. I read it partially and didn't see any limit for numbering.

The day after , I re ran adsplicer and it worked well.

Magic!! isn't it.

It seems like magic, but probably it is not :)
There must have been a reason there, maybe a previous retry made you fail ( as you said, retrying the operation solved the issue..)
