cloning - custom top

Dear Erman,

Can you please provide your suggestions on below concerns

1)Will adcfgclone.pl dualfs run autoconfig on run and patch file systems?
2)We have done a complete clone(copying oracle home and apps file system) to the existing test system.we have taken the backup of context file from test system before clone.

adcfgclone dualfs completed successfully and we could see a new xml file created.when i checked for the difference between the backup xml and new xml,we are missing
one new custom top which is not migrated to prod yet.
In this case,can i restore the backup xml and run autoconfig..will this give us the custom top back?

1)yes
2)your issue is most probably caused by your custom top configuration. Most probably, your custom top has not been properly configured and/or adsplice was not performed correctly.
Please review the following note ->
"Creating a Custom Application in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2 (Doc ID 1577707.1)"
If all the things are in place (all the things documented in the above note), then yes, you should be able to get your custom top back by executing the last step, which is the autoconfig..

Thanks for the update.

I should have posted my question with more clarity.

Recently,We have created a new custom top XXSTP in test environment which is not yet created in prod.
We have cloned the test system 2 days back and now we lost the custom top in test.

How can we get back the custom top XXSTP?
I have the backup xml file which was taken before the clone,can i just restore this xml file and run autoconfig?will this give the custom top back?

If all "other" things (except autoconfig) are in place (all the things documented in the above note), then yes, you should be able to get your custom top back by executing the last step, which is the autoconfig..
