database link from Oracle to MYSQL

Roshan
Oracle Database 12.1.0.2
Red Hat Linux 6

Hello Erman,

Happy New Year 2019!

I have  configured ODBC to connect from Oracle to MYSQL(Windows server). Before that, I installed MYSQL on the source Linux server and connection is fine as shown below

-bash-4.1$ isql -v demo
+---------------------------------------+
Connected!

sql-statement
help [tablename]
quit

+---------------------------------------+
SQL>

ODBC entry:
[demo]
Driver = /usr/lib64/libmyodbc8a.so
Description = Connector/ODBC x.x Driver DSN
SERVER = 127.0.0.1
PORT = 3306
USER = demo
PASSWORD = AAAA
DATABASE = demo
OPTION = 0
TRACE = Yes

When I am trying to connect to the MYSQL on Windows server, I am getting error shown below:

-bash-4.1$ isql -v bikwik
[S1000][unixODBC][MySQL][ODBC 8.0(a) Driver]Access denied for user 'roshanbi'@'localhost' (using password: NO)
[ISQL]ERROR: Could not SQLConnect

ODBC entry for 'bikwik'

[bikwik]
Driver = /usr/lib64/libmyodbc8a.so
Description = Connector/ODBC x.x Driver DSN
SERVER = 10.10.10.111
PORT = 3306
USER = root
PASSWORD = AAAA
DATABASE = mt
OPTION = 0
TRACE = Yes

ping and telnet is fine.

Please advise.

Regards,

Roshan
