Hello,

what does sourcing environemnt file means? what is the difference between APPS<CONTEXT>.env and <CONTEXT>.env?

Sourcing environment means , executing the script that sets the required environment variables. (in ebs , .env files are the env scripts files)

The difference between those two env scripts is the set of environment varaibles they set.
