extract failing

Source and target: RAC database 12.1.0.2 (2 nodes)

Hello Team,

 

kindly note that I am getting error below when starting extract.

 

2019-08-12T05:57:45.063+0400  ERROR   OGG-15432  Oracle GoldenGate Capture for Oracle, extdwh.prm:  Could not find a valid log archive destination with matching db_unique_name of 'ggcbs' in source database.

2019-08-12T05:57:45.065+0400  ERROR   OGG-01668  Oracle GoldenGate Capture for Oracle, extdwh.prm:  PROCESS ABENDING.

 

Log_archive_dest have been properly setup and archivelog replication is in progress. archive log is being generated and shipped to target after log switch.

 

What could be the issue?

Hi Roshan,

Set the db unique name in the log_archive_parameter to be the same as the related initialization parameter and retry.

Hi,

the fix was to set the parameter in the second node of RAC also. There were some issues on the TNS entry on second node as well.
