You say your problem is on node 2, but you sent du -sh outputs from node1?

Anyways,

login with root into "node2" and send me the following output-

1)
df -h

2)
cd /
du -sh * |grep G

your problem is u05..
It is 38G and it is not mounted from anywhere.. I mean it is not a storage or a remote filesystem.. It is not a seperate partition or it is not located on a seperate disk.

It is counted under the / filesystem and it occupies 38 GB from there..

So concantrate on u05.

stat command can display the creation time as "Birth".
but you have a "-" there..
It changes according to the filesystem and in your case, in your filesystem it is not stored.
so there is no way to know that..
