hosts file for loadbalancing

we have 2 application nodes and a loadbalancer.can we add both the nodes entries(appnode1,appnode2) as well as loadbalancer(appnode)  entry in /etc/hosts?

Load Balancing is done using the urls that you give in autoconfig context file.
Please read the documents..

I didn't understand your question. (you are already using  a load balancer, right? If so why are you asking this..)
I didn't understand your purpose as well..
