login page issue R12.2.5

Dear Erman,

In prod,all of a sudden users started complaining that they are unable to login.we just tried to login and this is what the issue is

1)Able to get the login page
2)After entering username and password and clicked on login,nothing happens(no blank page nothing,no further redirection)

I dont have much time to further look into it as my manager sit on my head.i just bounced the oacore services and the issue was fixed.How ever i was attaching the logs at the time of errors.can you please go through and update us if you have faced this kind of scenario.

Also check your customization and personalizations.. (tell your developers to check them) -- (customizations/personalizations in Login page and Home page)

when i checked with our developers,they updated me these custom messages will display in logs and that is expected.more over they asked what was the issue with custom pages and i am able to answer them.any clue you can give me please

Ask them about the customizations in "Login Page" and "Home Page" specifically.
Ensure they are working expectedly. Ensure they are not the cause.

Very useful for us,thank you erman.

I have listed the pages and went to developer, what he told me is,that customization was required by client and those pages were running since 1 year.Again he asked me how that customization was related to the error and y he want to disable it.

A patch, or a change in the structure may make your customizations fail.
In such a case, customizations need to be modified.

But, if it is not the case for your, I suggest you to check the documents, that I sent you in my previous updates.
