Hi Erman,

we have requirement to add new oacore managed server in existing node.we are following Managing Configuration of Oracle HTTP Server and Web Application Services in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2 (Doc ID 1905593.1)

can you please let us know if we need to bring the all the services in run filesystem except admin server in the node where we are adding the managed server?

You only restart the Oracle HTTP Server (Apache) after doing all the necessary steps documented there.

Successfully added oacore managed server to run filesystem and bounced httpserver.Ofcourse,It will be synced when we run fsclone/next prepare phase,but instead of doing that our management has updated us to add the same in patch filesystem as well.Steps to add addition managed server in patch filesystem is not documented in that note id,can you please share the steps which will be very helpful to us

there is no documented way and no need for this.

Addition of managed servers needs to be done on the run file system when there is no active ADOP cycle. During the next adop prepare, the Configuration Change Detector identifies that the addition has been made and the managed servers are automatically synced up from the run file system to the patch file system. The synchronization also gets done when fs_clone is executed.
