Yes. You can rerun it :)

If you are talking about the restart parameter, which is used for restarting a failed patch from where it left off; my answer is "it can only be used for the apply phase"

Hi Erman,

Actually,prepare phase got failed saying port in use.we have fixed the issue and reran the prepare phase again,but it failed.Then we have aborted and ran full cleanup,then started prepare phase and this time it got completed successfully.

My doubt here was,can we restart the prepare phase when it fails instead of running abort and full cleanup

Normally, you don't need to run the cleanup phase after fixing the port issue.

Please send me the exact error stack. I need to see the full error stack.
Also, send me the ports reported there..
