[root@IND120202 26635815 ]# opatchauto apply -oh  /u01/app/12.1.0/grid

Also, will opatchauto bring down the cluster or do we need to manually bring down the cluster before running the opatchauto

1)To patch only the GI home:

# opatchauto apply <UNZIPPED_PATCH_LOCATION>/26635815 -oh <GI_HOME>

2)The events that may occur during these kinds of patches, the things you need to do for applying these patches may change according to your env.
For example, if you are using ACFS, then there are things to be done.. If your GRID is shared, then there are things to be done.. etc..

Please read the documentation carefully->

Read: Supplemental Readme - Patch Installation and Deinstallation for 12.1.0.x.x GI PSU and Database Proactive Bundle Patch (Doc ID 1591616.1)

Also Read: the Readme of "Patch 26635815 - Oracle Grid Infrastructure Patch Set Update 12.1.0.2.171017"

Thanks for the update erman.I have gone through, still little confusion.

My grid home is not shared. In this case,if i run opatchauto apply  oh <GI_HOME>,will this command bring down the services or do i need to manually bring down the service prior to applying the patch.

Thanks,
sri

Please read : "Supplemental Readme - Patch Installation and Deinstallation for 12.1.0.x.x GI PSU and Database Proactive Bundle Patch (Doc ID 1591616.1)" Case 3: Patching GI Home Alone

It changes according to ACFS, whether its is configured or not.

Thanks erman,Gone through the document.we are not using ACFS and our homes are not shared.Note id suggests to apply using the below command

As root user execute:

# opatchauto apply <UNZIPPED_PATCH_LOCATION>/%BUGNO% -oh <GI_HOME> -ocmrf <ocm response file>

There are sub-patches inside the GRID PSU PATCH 26635815 as below,do i need to run opatch for every sub-patch or just running the opatch for main psu patch 26635815 would be fine?

[griduat@erpuatdb1 26635815]$ pwd
/u01/UAT/GRID_HOME/12.1.0/psu/26635815
[griduat@erpuatdb1 26635815]$ ls
21436941
26392164
26392192
26713565 --this is database psu
automation bundle.xml README.html README.txt

Thanks for all your support
