I want to know how can we edit form session timeout in r12.2.can we edit plan.xml and redeploy it or change it in console would be fine.if we change it in console will plan.xml will get updated?do we need to run autoconfig?

In EBS 12.2, we go with setting ICX: Session timeout.

We also --if needed-- set the timeout values in the plan.xml files to the same value that we set for ICX Session timeout. (as documented in ICX: Session Timeout Is Not Taking Effect (Doc ID 2142867.1))

1)In forms plan.xml or in all plan.xml including oacore,oafm etc
2)what is the use of "s_sesstimeout" in xml file..is this related to forms or oacore?
