Hi Erman,

Need your help

we have a running r12.2.5 system for last 9 months and we didnt schedule purge obsolete workflow run time data yet.i am afraid to schedule it.i have checked with my functional team and they are not aware of what is runtime data.i have gone through several note ids and on internet.

what is runtime data and will runtime data needed by business or functional team?

we have invoice approval workflow item type.who approved and what,all those information is stored in product tables and we are not deleting this.we only deleting the run time data.I am really not aware of this runtime data.in what case this runtime data is needed?

Currently we dont have any schedule for this program and my functional team was not aware of what runtime data is

runtime data means, the data produced and used during the workflow runtime.

When the Workflow Engine executes any type of workflow other than forced synchronous processes, status information is stored in runtime tables.

So, ofcourse yes.
