reg DMZ configuration

Dear Erman,

we are about to implement DMZ to one of our client and we have few concerns with DMZ and need your help here.
1)If intrusion attempts against machines in the DMZ are successful,will there be any impact to the database?because there will be connections from DMZ application server to database right?
2)Also in general,do we give forms access for external responsibilities?

1)If you put a reverse proxy on DMZ , then No. See the picture that I uploaded dmz_example

2)It is your choice.. You can.. There is no technical impossibilities about that.

Any suggestions which reverse proxy we can purchase?
DBA has to configure reverse proxy?

DBA or System Admin.. It is according to the skills..
Normally, System admin should do it..

You can use Apache.
